Live chat

In short: if you start a chat, we keep what you tell us so we can reply. The chat runs on our own server.

The chat uses Chatwoot, a self-hosted chat tool. It loads only when you click the Chat button. Opening it sets one cookie, cw_conversation, which keeps your conversation open when you reload or come back. Before a chat starts we ask for your name and email address; a phone number is optional. If you leave the page, we can carry on the conversation by email. When a chat ends we may ask you to rate it; answering is optional. The data stays on our own server and is not shared with anyone.
